What can I expect at the evaluation? A formal evaluation typically lasts 1 hour long and allows the Speech Language Pathologist the opportunity to evaluate speech and language skills using standardized tests, observation, history, and caregiver report. Following the formal evaluation, you will receive a written report of the findings which will include recommendations and goals for therapy.
How long and how frequent are therapy visits? Therapy is always tailored to the unique needs of the individual. We typically recommend 30-minute sessions. Depending on the type and severity of deficits, therapy is recommended at 1x or 2x per week. The scope and duration of therapy will be discussed in consultation with the SLP during the initial visit.
Do you accept health insurance? Yes. If we are not in network with your insurance company we can create a super bill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and HSA cards. We use Square Pay to process card payments.
Is there a waiting list for therapy? Please contact us to find out if we have any more available time slots or to be added to the waiting list.
Do you accept current or recent speech evaluations from my child's school or from any other speech clinics? Yes
Is your waiting room private? Yes, we have a private waiting room with coffee, water, and tea for you to enjoy. We do our best to reduce over-lap of appointments. We ask that you do not arrive early to your appointment in order to maintain a quiet waiting room.
Who will be my or my child’s therapist? Serena K. Singh MS CCC-SLP is the sole therapy provider and evaluator at AZ Speech Therapy Solutions.
Are you hiring? We are currently interviewing for a full or part-time SLP, or SLP-CF to provide home-based speech therapy. We are not available for student observers requiring hours.
