What can I expect at the evaluation? A formal evaluation typically lasts 1 hour long and allows the Speech Language Pathologist the opportunity to evaluate speech and language skills using standardized tests, observation, history, and caregiver report. Following the formal evaluation, you will receive a written report of the findings which will include recommendations and goals for therapy.
How long and how frequent are therapy visits? Therapy is always tailored to the unique needs of the individual. We typically recommend 30-50 minute sessions. The scope and duration of therapy will be discussed in consultation with the SLP during the initial visit.
Is there a waiting list for therapy? Please contact us to find out if we have any more available time slots or to be added to the waiting list.
Do you accept current or recent speech evaluations from my child's school or from any other speech clinics? Yes
